Purpose of Role
The ideal candidate is innovative, enthusiastic, and customer-focused with great judgment and creative problem-solving skills. Has knowledge of technical tools as well as advanced data analysis or other similar experience. The candidate is extremely organized and comfortable managing multiple cross-functional projects at once, and is a skilled personnel manager able to provide strong direction, remove roadblocks, and collaborate with peers.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement & manage Salsify product content management platform
- Lead Salsify strike team during onboarding period (coordinating IT, sales, brand, ecom, and other stakeholders)
- Plan roll-outs and deliver Salsify trainings
- Liaison with other parts of the business to coordinate the product content lifecycle (creation, management, share/syndicate)
- Build and maintain workflows, where relevant, to drive the automatic collection of item content across departments
- For data alignment and integrity, serve as a liaison and a subject matter expert to all other departments on product and category content
- Administer business data changes from time of request to resolution
- Recommend efficiency improvements in data creation and maintenance processes
- Identify gaps in product content when mapped to retailer requirements and formulate plans to fill those content gaps that may improve conversion rate on digital storefronts
- Analyze metrics and related data to identify opportunities that will improve merchandising and the customer experience across various products and categories
- Assist with new items or changes to items as they need to be setup in the systems
- Develop and enhance products and category content
- Coordinate with Salsify Customer Success team to evaluate potential to take advantage of new Salsify product features and services
Qualifications Knowledge and Skills
- Experience in data collection, interfaces and processes
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Able to quickly learn necessary technical tools
- Action oriented
- Strong planning, priority setting, and project management skills
